| Post subject: | Design Question - Neck to Body Weight Ratio |
Is there a general balance point that you guys work toward between the weight of the soundbox and the weight of neck (fretted and with tuners installed)? I know that you don't want a neck heavy guitar but doesn't a more dense neck provide additional sustain? Thanks, Chuck |
