Here are a few pictures for Hesh and any other Brazilian RW lovers (aren't we all?). This is my latest 0-5.
She is an Adirondack/Brazilian 3 piece back with koa binding and BWB purfling.
The rosette is BRW with the grain running radially and bordered with BWB veneer.
BRW fingerboard and bridge.
Fossilized walrus ivory pins, nut and saddle.
Nitrocellulose lacquer.

Hot darn Brad you are kicking out guitars faster than all the rest of us combined!!! And what a guitar this one is too!!!

It's beautiful in all respects and the Koa with BRW is not a combo that I would have thought of doing with the Koa being the binding but I love it. I also love L-OO's too.

Killer, absolutely killer my friend!!!

Thanks, Hesh, I appreciate the compliment. She sounds great! Has a nice balanced tone throughout, I believe. Has a real good bass and nice ringing trebles.

It looks like I'm going on a small break from guitar building because I am now all caught up. I do have that dread that I need to build for a demo, then I will have one of each of the 3 sizes that I build and I can use them for demo/sale.

Where did you get the top from. It look really even and silky for adi.

Really nice Brad. Where did you get the pick guard? Very cool. Bet it sounds as good as it looks.

Zach, I got the top from Old Standard. I love good quartered adirondack because in addition to the tone it imparts on a guitar, the nicely quartered wood shows a little "curl" to it, and adi just has great character to it with the dark and light lines.

Danny, I made the pickguard from Tor-Tis stock that came from LMI. I cut it out, bevelled it by sanding the edges by hand, and then went through all the grits until I was able to finish it out by buffing on the wheel.

The radial rosette was an idea I got from here at the OLF after seeing some of the radial purflings that were done. There is so much good info posted by so many talented people here...this place rocks!

Mike, I wish it was a keeper, but she is going to her new home this week to join 2 of her sisters. She will have good company with a koa dread and a quilted sapele 000. My wife is already having separation anxiety and she doesn't even play (not that I do very well). This guy is also wanting a J-45, so it looks like I will be getting a set of your plans in the near future! I do love the curves of these little runabouts!

Geordie, thanks. I'd love to get this one in the hands of a great fingerpicker and see what kinda sound they could get out of it. The pickguard is Tor-tis firestripe that I got from LMI. I love the looks of it, and it looks even better on one of my bursts (at least in my opinion).

I'm gonna miss her. Another one all grown up and leaving home
