Thanks for sharing Phillipo. I have long been a fan of Randy's work. He was one of the first to venture into double-top construction and is consistently innovative with some great craftsmanship. That's going to be a knockout of a guitar and I'm eager to hear some soundclips when you think the time is right. |

That is looking so sweet. Everything is so nice, and the headstock especially. But what I'm really left wondering, is why did I think that Randy was much younger that he appears in the photo? Maybe because his work feels like that of a much younger man? |

Randys guitars are awsome !!! I see he used the ring circle back bracing . Enjoy that baby for along time. ![]() |

Filippo, do you know how the finger board extension is attached? Is it glued down, bolted or just under the tension of the strings? |

Filippo that is a sweet looking guitar! With my weakness for cocobolo I drooled on my keyboard at the sight of your set. If I recall Todd at Allied Lutherie had some very much like that. It went fast! |

hi Filippo that is an inspiring instrument in every way, thanks for showing it to us. I would be very interested in seeing Mr Reynolds S/S work especially the bracing. best wishes Geordie |

Phillipo, I don't want to say this like a "well done" type of a comment on a nice build but I am genuinely impressed with this guitar. I love the Cocobolo you used, the back bracing is really interesting and looks great and the rosette looks very tasteful too. I really like the way the headstock turned out! I think you did a fantastic job! |

Stunning instrument. Sorry if this has been answered, but have you built many nylons with that top bracing style? Clearly not the traditional ladder bracing. How have they turned out? |
