Hey guys and girls using the Performax 10-20...where's the best cyberplace to get paper? Either "ready-wrap" or 3" rolls? Thanks, Larry |

Maybe someone has a cheaper source? Sometimes cheap sandpaper will just bum you out, so this is not an area where i choose to bargain hunt though. http://www.klingspor.com/products/KlgprRolls.htm |

Please consider Jordan's advice. That Klingspor blue paper is AWSOME. And it lasts forever (well, OK, that's an exageration.) You get what you pay for. Also, get that 2x2x12" gum eraser bar...extends the paper life. Mike |

I needed some on short notice once and ran down to Grizzly (a few minutes away). They only had the felt backed rolls meant for hook and loop sanders so that's what I got. I'm not sure if it's good quality stuff or if the felt back helps but that stuff has been really durable. I think the felt back gives it a cushion, keeps it cooler, and reduces spot build-ups. And it sanded things just as flat. I'll buy it again. |

Online Industrial Supplies http://www.onlineindustrialsupply.com/3indrsaro.html I've used several different grits and have been happy with results (using a Jet 16/32). Considerably cheaper than Klingspor, too. |

Discounting the obvious difference in length and price, what is the difference between the aluminum oxide rolls from Online Industrial Supply and Alumina-Zirconia belts? Klingspor's Woodworking Store |

Lillian, that is a good question... I would like to know too. With the word Zirconia in there, it sounds like its gonna last longer. Mike |

I do not speak from direct experience, other than using some of their other cloth backed belts, but that blue stuff, from what I have read is really long lasting and tough, abrasively, that is. The blue and gold stuff they sell is industrial quality product. |

Well the link worked when I previewed it. Lets try this again. Its Klingspor's woodworking shop in the cloth roll section $115 for 50 meters (168 feet) might be a good deal after all. I'm think that 50 meters ought to last an seriously long time for me. http://www.woodworkingshop.com |

The Klingspor stuff rules. And I found a decent sized roll in the bargain bin, and was able to make several rolls for myself. It's worth a look if there is a store near you. |

Real shame the majority of you guys are in the states as I've found a real cheap supplier in the UK he used to work in the abrasives industry and still has contacts, and sells good quality abrasive tapes, belts, flap wheels etc made to order, so you have to normally have a minimum of 10 in any grit any uk guys pm me if you want an email address and phone number. |
