On a tight cutaway, you can cut extra kerfs to get it to go around smoothly. It sounds like todds method is to remove material from the side walls of the dentils, is that right? Either way would work. I carefully cut kerfs in the middle of each dentil in the immediate are of the sharp convex bend (the bend closest to the neck block) on a bandsaw. |
