Killer Dave!!!!

This is your second OO sized guitar in a row too right? I love Aussie Blackwood and have a very cool set that Bob Connor gave me when he was here last summer.

As always Dave beautiful craftsmanship and a great eye for design too! [:Y:] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap]

Very nice work, my friend.
Love the Tasmanian BW, thought it was Koa at first glance before I read your description.
Also, I think that Carpathian spruce top looks very nice. How does the Carpathian compare to adi, sitka, engelmann as far as softness (per easily dented, scratched, while building) ? Looks very white and very nice.

Great job!

Great looking guitar! I was wondering the same thing as Dave, how does Carpathian compare to other tops?

Thanks guys!
Hesh, yeah this is my 2nd 00 after the L-00. I like the small bodied guitars very much too.
I'm building a big dreadnaught next but I'm sure I'll be doing more of these. The blackwood is an awesome wood to work.
Dave and Chuck, This is the 2nd time I've used Carpathian .On my other guitars I've used Adi spruce.Adi might be a little
more scratch and dent resistant.Engleman is supposed to be a bit softer but I haven't used it so I can't compare.

That's a very elegant little guitar in all respects. I, too, love the blackwood. I think the headstock veneer and the very simple logo are particularly nice touches.

It's all great, Dave.

Great work and good choice on the size, I just recently become a fan of playing those. Love the simplicity, speaks volumes.

thanks Steve, I wish I could make a sound clip. I don't have the software for
it.I do have a few mics so maybe someone could help me out with some advice
on recording. Did you notice the truss rod cover? Thanks for the inspiration on that !

Thanks again, everyone

Dave,

That's a real beauty! Lovely design elements.
Congratulations!
If at all possible it would be great to hear a sound clip.
Any chance of hearing it in person?

Nice job Dave. As you know I'm a big fan of little guitars. What's the finish? Have you heard much difference with Brazilian vs. Ebony bridges?

Beautiful! It's amazing how one little design element will jump out at you, but I really like the end of your fretboard. Then wood combination is perfect too. Very nice.

Real Sweet Dave!!! Closeup of the rosette please?

Terry, It's good ol' nitro on neck and body.I decided against Tru-oil on this one. On the bridge woods- It's hard for me
to tell too much of a difference between the two woods. The combination of the adi tops and the brw bridge is my favorite.
OK, here's a close up of the rosette....
