Well, I have put the back on the harp guitar, time to assemble the top. I want to use a herring bone purfling on the top. I also want to use a rosette based on herring bone. Since the harp guitar has two sound holes, one smaller than the other, custom bending is required. But rosette pattern design eludes me. Could someone please suggest a pattern, one that is simple but bold?

Mike

PS: I am planning on ordering the herrring bone from Allied Lutherie

Nope, but with a name like Knutsen, I bet I should. Whaa.

I am not going for visual correctness (but I am regarding construction, except for the neck joint).

I'll get a finished pic shortly. My view was this harp guitar looked like a big whale. So...
