Somebody post some pictures of it if you would. Unless it is against copyright laws or ethics.

Ok I know I'm still a newb, but what is Guitarmaker, where do you get it, and do they have centerfolds? laughing6-hehe

Seriously, if this is a mag I'm missing out on, please fill me in.

Thanks, everyone. They were asking for stuff, so I sent them some pics. I didn't really expect it to be in the mag. I figured they'd have to pick from a bunch of different ones. They must really be having problems getting articles.

Chuck, just go to my album at the bottom of this page, and flip to the last two pages of pictures of number 1. Most of the pictures are posted there too.

Thanks again folks!

Nice article Waddy. That's one of the nicest first guitars I have seen. Heck it's a nice guitar period. bliss

How about the Chesapeake Bay Guitars article. Beautiful guitars built by Dave MacCubin. Look at those inlays from Craig Lavin. Spectacular work.
Heck I even get a mention on page 6 for supplying the wood for all the guitars.
Thanks to Craig for referring me to Dave.

Awesome! I didn't get to see it, because I don't get Guitarmaker (ugh), but Waddy did a really great job on that guitar and it was a lot of fun watching his progress. I think his threads here regarding that experience should be required reading for anyone building their first classical.

I just looked at your photo site again Waddy, congrats on all your progress!

Thanks Bob and Joshua.

I have a couple in process, Joshua, Basically the same models, but different woods. One is German Spruce and EIR, the other Lutz and Bubinga.

I thought Waddy would look older than he does....just shows you how you build up a mental picture of someone and how wrong it can be.

It's a nice write up and the guitar looks great (but we already knew that).

Hey, we've got a photo of Waddy now..... Eat Drink

Cheers,
Dave F.

Waddy, congratulations on the article (though I haven't seen it  ), to echo what Joshua said and as I think I've told you before, your first build was a model of how it should be done. You carefully thought through each building stage, questioned each process and asked the intelligent follow ups, the result was a finished guitar that any of the more experienced builders would have been proud to call their own. Like Howard said, you're a natural.

You guys are too nice, except for the picture thing!

Not feeling much like a natural right now. Just chiseled out the rosette from #2, for the second time. [headinwall] [headinwall]
