I talked to an aquaintance in the Nashville, TN area. He needs some work done on his classical guitar (regluing bridge, etc.). I told him I thought there must be some good ones around, but didn't know of anyone specifically. So, anyone know of a good repairman I can refer him to? As always, many thanks, Max |

Here's a few to try: Sim Daley - has a website I think its www.simdaley.com - he's a great builder/repair guy. I would be willing to bet he can do the work on classicals too although he mainly works on steel strings and mandolins. He has a fantastic reputation around Nashville. Jim Grainger - www.customfret.com - in Sparta, TN. Great repair/retail shop. Good people too. They'll tell you if they can't do it. Gruhn Guitars - big time high end stuff in Nashville but they do good repairwork. I'm sure they could refer you to a classical luthier if they can't do it. |
