I saw that the first guitar I was building the entire back same unglued by itself and the braces just came off taking a piece of the center strip with it. Then I was frantically trying to mix up a new batch of hide glue and dump out the old one to reglue it, then I woke up and realized that it was a dream.... man that was scary. |

How true. Your wife would probably use the guitar on or around your head...thus making your nightmare become reality. Seriously, though, I didn't have any nightmares about my archtop while I was building it. In order to have a nightmare, one must be asleep. I spent too many hours lying awake, itemizing what I did wrong that day, and wondering what I would do wrong during the next building session.... Patrick |

Oooo, sloppy reading or Freudian slips? Fantasy's are all about trying to understand what we cannot possibly experience ourselves, so let fantasy have its way. My wife has her dreams about who she is with, too. Enough said about that! We talk, we trust each other, its all good. And I do like it where my wife IS the pretty girl in the dream! |
