Well thanks for all the advise and support. My number one is almost to completion (I painted/built electrics before but I am not sure if I should count them... most of the work is finishing and fitting) and all that is left now is sand sand sand. Tell me what you think.

Top wood is LMI second grade sitka spruce (I know.. should have gone with like AA or something but I was thinking I want to use a cheap wood for my first so if I mess up I won't lose much... I think next time I will go for Engelmann spruce at least AA and over)
Back and side is unfigured Bubina. It looks purple and kinda could pass for purpleheart but as soon as it's finished it starts to look more orange.
Binding is EIR with WBW purfling and normal herringbone rosette.
Neck was a Martin neck with diamond voluette that I got from ebay for less than $50.
Fretboard is second grade E. African Ebony with abalone inlay.
Fret is LMI Stainless steel fret, FWSS110 (will probably sound bright but I was going for durability and I really like big stainless steel fret for ease of bending... that's what you get for playing electrics with Stainless steel SS6115 too much)

The two hole on the body is so I can glue in the bridge and use bridge pin to keep it from sliding around while glueing, also gives me a reference point so I can mask the area while spraying finishes.

I had a setback a few days ago when the fretboard just popped off, I guess the glue was either not mixed right or contamination prevented the glue from sticking to the wood (I forgot to clean the surface before gluing) and I tried to clean up the remaining glue for regluing but in the process of doing that I put a radius on the joint which made gluing impossible, so I took a long time to plane the joint flat to insure a good joint (I stuck sandpaper to a wooden plane and stuck the plane in a vise then I held the neck by hand to insure a flat surface) and even now there are still some gap that I filled with thick superglue. Next time I should just use epoxy.

I hope stuff doesn't happen (like the top being pulled open by the strings so it looks like it's laughing at you)....

Looks great. I bet the bubinga will look great under the finish. The top doesn't look like second grade from what I can see.
