Where's the dust & shavings?

I have over 100 tops,80 B & S sets and 100 neck blanks.
Plus planks of Curly Maple ,Bubinga,Cherry,Jatoba and assorted bits.

It takes up a room by itself all this wood.

Red bro these are Bluebird houses that I made to kind of do a trial run with the new shop...... I need to get these things out and in place pretty soon......

Bit old, but it's still most of the wood. I have since sliced up some Sapele and curly Claro sets that are sort of, um, blocking the view of the roughly 70 sets pictured there (yes, really).

Holy Schnikes Mattia!! Between you and Hesh I totally have zoot envy.

Here's what I have. I'm working on it. Right before posted i resawed a set of sapele. I love my new bandsaw.

Nice looking walnut slabs there Darrin .... I have a couple in the garage I bought years ago to make a table top with .. made the table out of cherry instead, so they are still in the garage !!!!

Tried to take some pix and edit them up but my Adobe is acting up .. cant resize the files
Besides, how many times do you need to see a bunch of 12 and 16/4 mahogany boards, couple piles of rosewoods and mahogany sets, other sets of mac ebonies and ziricotes, afr blackwood log chunks, eb/rw/afrblkwd FBs, couple hundred bridge blanks, purflings, veneers, couple duz tops, one of my students stash of PRS reject tops up in the rafters that he is hiding from his girlfriend - ah, he dumped her, should be round to pick that stuff up any day now .. oh, and dont forget the rubble corner of doom (never know what you might find in there .. all nowhere near as neatly organized as the Heshster - that guy spends so much time tidying up its a wonder anything gets done

Is some of this zoot stored in different areas of the house, then? I see some pics have been taken in houses, not shops. Talk about creating a decorative feature, I might have to look into that...I am running out of space...

Photos of some of my stash of zoot here. I need to store mine better though, it's not stickered right now, just stacked...some of your storage methods have inspired me. I'll have a go at this tomorrow....

My Modest Stash of Zoot:

- B&S: Mad RW, Hondo RW, EIR, 3 African Mahog, HOG, Lacewood, Monkey Pod, Maple
- Tops: 2 Lutz, 2 Adi, 2 German, 2 WRC, 1 Carp
- Bridge blanks: BRW, MadRw
- Fretbd: BRW, MadRW (Over Go Bar Deck)
- Bindings: Various (but alot of Mad RW)
- Brace wood: Adi, Lutz

The shots there are of an 'under the roof' slidey cupboard, and are only of resawn pieces, hidden away (invisible) are the electric tops, and the fingerboards. At least, before the last batch came in a while back. The next cupboard over overflows with a few pieces of non-resawn redwood, black limba and a big pile of bracewood. Not pictured are the many boards of mahogany (true, sapele, khaya), limba (black and white), bubinga, cedrella, swamp ash, maple and walnut that still live in the shape of boards. Those are in the shed/shop, hiding under and above the workbench.

I beefed up my stash with the last swapalooza...
So a lot of Mahogany backs, spalted maple drop tops, redwood,...

I was just up in Colorado at my son's wedding and my nephew from Kansas brought me
some interesting additions to my wood pile. The pieces of Osage Orange are very dense
and have a nice ring to them. The fruit, which you wouldn't want to be in a situation where it required eating,
is commonly known as a hedge apple in the mid west.

The darkened color is where the wood has been exposed to light.

I'm thinking it might be a nice wood for bridges,
