In the process of building my spruce soundboard has a couple of oily looking spots. I wonder if Acetone would be a good cleaner prior to finishing? Any suggestions? |

Try naphta, if it doesn't work and if you do not have hardwood purflings/rosette etc. denatured alcohol. |
