It's an honor to be part of this project.

Man, that's beautiful! If it sounds like the original, it's a killer.

Good work Mark!

It is nice to see that a hand guitarmaker of Linda's status can command the price of those instruments. You guitarmakers are catching up with the violin makers!

Terrific work Mark!
I would LOVE to hear what Linda has to say about the rest of this run of guitars!
From what I read, they are all under way and will be done in 2009! That is amazing!

I took a look at the info last night. That is quite the project! And the price, wow, I can only dream of being in that position.

Congrats Mark, that is cool! And Canadian to boot! What is most interesting about all of this to me is that I am sure that Linda will indeed sell all of these and even at that price. AND they are being made with East Indian Rosewood, not BRW!!! There has discussions recently amongst a core of these makers to move away from endangered species in making of their instruments so cudos to Linda for moving in that direction.

Again Mark, your contribution to the project certainly helps set these instruments apart!

Thanks guys.

This single project embodies more inlay I've ever done in my entire life combined.

I had originally planned to use the CNC for the bulk of the work, but this is such an important and significant project for both Pat and Linda, that I chose to do it by hand.

Over 3lbs of Black & White MOP, and a few saw blades so far.

Back to work.
