I use the 3707fc which Stewmac recommended for their binding jig and it works great.
I don't know what the difference is between this model and the 3707f but it can't be that much.
You don't say what you want it for exactly? I use mine specifically for routing the binding channels.

have no idea what the price in dollars would be, but if $46. I would buy them all day long. Good trimmers and tools. I dedicate them for particular use so not use all day every day, but wouldn't have a problem doing that.

We had a pair of those in college - got used every day for the 2 years I was there and held up great!
