I have been using a Fox style bridge clamp system. If you're not using it, I'm sure you've seen it in the LMII catalog.
It's the one where screws are placed through the 2 outer bridge pin holes and then a thumb screw clamp on each side of the wings.

I've used this on the last 2 builds I have completed and am about to use it on build #4.
The problem I've encountered is the screws going through the bridge pin holes invariably wind up glued and usually involves some hammer blows, (which scares the heck out of me), to get them to release.

Anybody have any counter-measures to avoid this? I was thinking perhaps to cover the threads with vaseline?

Thanks

I put wax on the threads. A bar of soap should also work.

I use 3/16 threaded bolts and simply unscrew them when thye wont pull out clean - TB or most glues wont stick to metal all that well for long.

+1 - change the hardware!

Bit of wax or vaseline on the threads helps too.

I just you beeswax. Same stuff you use to lubricate screws. Clinton

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I used regular old bar soap, courtesy of the Days Inn, and it worked just fine.
