Does anyone have a good way to radius end and tail blocks? What is the radius on a Martin? They all seem to be the same. Thanks, Steve Brown |

im assuming you are speaking of getting the radius on the side that will be glued to the ribs? if so, im sure there are other and probably better ways, but i just rough it out with a block plane or sander of some sort, then i stick some sandpaper in my outside mold at either the head or tail block location and slide the block across the mold until it fits the appropriate radius. make sense? you just have to make sure you keep everything square. |

Great idea John. Using a white board and taking digital photos is really a quick way to show a design or relay an idea! |

Here's a commonly used jig that has proved very reliable for me. I've used it for about 4 years. I learned about it at the C Fox course. I seldom need to do any cleanup after I radius. Terry ![]() ![]() ![]() |
