I have been watching the "Author" column as I surf the OLF and it is SO NICE to see
it filled with names and not silly handles!

Thanks again to all of you that have done this! I think its one more step in making the OLF
a unique and special place that holds the value of "community" high!

What do you think about me using my initials LVC as I have been using. I always sign my posts Link.
If you would prefer I have no problem with my full name.

I like seeing the names now, but I don't know who they were. If they said "formerly known as" it woulda helpeed.

I don't know if this is mandatory or not. But if someone chooses to abbreviate their name for discretionary or privacy issues, let's not crucify, coerce or condemn them. Once info is out there, it's done. I can understand if a few might be reluctant.

Yup. I did the FKA in my sig. See below. Be nice if more did it. As far as the privacy issue, I get it. But I think the folks that need to worry about that are the ones who tend to make an arse of themselves. Using full names is a good way to minimize that. However, I can't think of anybody in recent memory like that on this board.

Politcal boards? Dang right I'm hiding behind a handle!!! laughing6-hehe
