Heres a lefty I built with a "vintage" finish on it Tht came in recently for a fret job.It has a "cut-in" humbucker.

That's a great looking axe. I love the vintage look on the top. Would you share the recipe for the finish?

Thanks for the kind words.

Patrick, The "recipe" for the toner is to mix a small amount of amber dye (I use Mohawk brand,Stew-Mac sells it as well) into the lacquer, then I spraty a couple of coats over the binding as well. Bob Bennedetto does it this way in his book-works great.
