I know most people here don't build solid body electrics, but does anybody know where I can go to find some information on building my own single coil pickups? Thanks Again |

You might start with Stewmacs' Tips http://www.stewmac.com/freeinfo/Electronics/Pickup_building.html Also might try Projectguitar.com and do a search. |

Jason Lollar published a book a few years back on making your own pickups. It is great. The bad thing is it is out of print. You can occassionally find it on ebay, but they are in demand and expensive. If you can't find one let me know and maybe I can help you out. |

This site has been in various forms through the years, but has a very knowledgeable group. I think the forum originally required signing up to post, but it may not any longer. http://music-electronics-forum.com/foru ... y.php?f=11 |

Travis: Projectguitar.com has a bunch of electric stuff. I found this http://designed2wind.alphalink.com.au/ there. I've got two lacewood capped Les Paul-ish electrics planned. Darrin |

Google " Pickup Winding". That should keep you busy for awhile. |
