I'm considering buying one, but I'd like to hear from someone who's used one. I'm interested in it's ability to cut rosette channels and truss rod pockets, but what others uses does it have? Does the Porter Cable setup come ready to use or do you have to buy accessories for circle cutting? I seem to remember that there was a restriction on the minimum size circle, maybe that's been overcome or I could be thinking of a different base.

Thanks in advance.

Make sure you get the circle cutting attachment. Then you can cut very small cirlcles.

This tool ROCKS, It is the absolute best. The control you get is amazing and it is heavy and solid as a good tool should be.

This tool allowed me to nearly perfectly complete my first rosette. It is at the top of my list of tools that I need to purchase before I move away from Lance :) and can't unashamedly use all of his stuff anymore :)

But seriously, it is a controlled approach to doing some seriously intricate work. It really removes a lot of human error from the whole deal...
