Finally got some professional photos, taken by a friend, of the guitars we built last May during our time with Kevin Gallagher. Needless to say, Kyle and I are REAL excited to have these. The entire gallery of professional photos can be seen at: http://gallery.me.com/slidearts#100481 Enjoy! If there is a better way to post these that saves time in loading - someone please let me know and I'll edit this thread - thanks! Paul's Guitar: ![]() ![]() ![]() Kyle's Guitar: ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Paul, beautiful guitar & great shots.....wish I had a friend like that Paul Burner wrote: If there is a better way to post these that saves time in loading - someone please let me know and I'll edit this thread - thanks! re the photos, if you upload the as an attachment, they show up as a smaller sized thumbnail (faster loading & "clickable" for those who want to see the full sized version) |

Nice photos and guitars. photography isn't all smoke and mirrors, it's hard work. Once you are set up to do it, it's not that bad. Hmmm, reminds me of all the hard work building guitars. |

Thanks for posting these, Paul. I like them all, but my favorite is the shot of your headstock with the shallow field depth. This kind of thing reminds me how great the acoustic guitar is. |

Wow, those are sure nice pictures and nice guitars too. The finish on those guitars just gleam! Kevin does nice finish work, or did you guys get to do that part of the build too? If so you guys did a great job. |

I know that Paul was planning on chiming in about the gleaming finishes on their guitars, but thought I'd beat him to it. The finish process in not a part of the class in my shop and Paul and Kyle had the resident finish expert Joe White shoot those most excellent shiny coats on their guitars. I love my finishes and enjoy putting them on my guitars, but if you ever see one of Joe's expertly shot jobs .....you'll immediately know that you're looking at the work of a true master of the finishing trade. Joe's work is second in quality and appearance to none and I'd recommend his work to anyone looking for a truly world class finish on a guitar. He probably maintains one of the thinnest finishes in the industry too, which is a real plus in the world of tone and acoustic guitars. Regards, Kevin Gallagher |

Nice photos with good use of the diffuser! The end wedge might be better served with a wider Depth of Field, but it's a minor quibble! Terence www.guitarbench.com |

Erik Hauri wrote: How do you string it to get all the tuning key buttons to line up like that? <wink> I order my strings in special lengths and then apply the Zager process to them - thus allowing the pegheads to align. This gives the guitar improved aerodynamics - and improves the transmission of vibrations to the neck bolts [wink] ![]() |
