Post subject:  With respect to Hesh' post -self promotion-

After reading this post and the concerns Hesh emphasized, I re-read some of my own posts and couldn't help but think that perhaps this applied to me.
I suppose to some the thread I started "cent values of any given semi-tone" felt like a sales pitch or promotional ploy to attract customers.
Well, I apologize if it came off this way, I even got a little off topic in the context and this was maybe a poor attempt on my part to try to understand just how important "proper-intonation" is to others. Which is exactly why I asked it here , on the luthiers forum. My intention was merely to gain other opinions on this topic and feel out it's validity. From what I have gathered from these replies concerning spot on pitch, and the importance or need to change equal temperament, you'd have to be a bit off to invest or market such a thing. But I wanted to know what the others (you) thought about it.
I enjoy trying new things and designing unique instruments, but to be honest, I don't see this idea going very far or becoming popular.
So to sum up, sorry if I caused any grief, this really is just my nature, I have a very outgoing personality and rarely have anyone to talk to out here in the sticks, well actually, wheat fields would be more like weeds, but either way I like talking about different things and sometimes it gets me in hot water. I'm also too honest and can take constructive criticism, so feel free, but don't be surprised if I have a good come back. I don't know any more than any one else here, and I've leaned a lot just by reading other posts. [uncle]

Nehemiah my friend thanks for that! [:Y:] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap]

I live in a corn field now too so perhaps we need to be better friends and get some great guitar building dialogs going?

Your response is a class act and I think that it's fair to say that you are too.

Thank you Hesh! I accept the invite and will offer 2 bushels of wheat for some of your corn on the cob and a little converse on lutherie. [:Y:]

For the record if I ever come off in an inappropriate manner, don't hesitate to holler at me, I can take it! I'll try to pay closer attention to what I write and where it's going.
