Not sure what you would call them, but where is the best place to buy the turnbuckle spreaders that you use to hold the rim tightly in the mold? thanks

Daniel,

I'm not sure where you live. I found a wide selection at my local
(regional) "Orchard Supply Hardware" here in California. I'd expect that
any large hardware/building supply place would stock them.

Look in the section where fence-building hardware is shelved, as I believe
their intended application is to provide diagonal tension in fence gates.

Marine suppliers are a good source down here in Australia.

Got mine in a dedicated bolt and fastener shop. They've got them in all flavors. Cheapest by far where the galvanized ones used for farmer's fencing. $1 each.

I wish they were a $1.00 here.I just use threaded rod with a wingnut reversed and a washer.

Check your local ACE hardware. They usually have a good assortment and the prices are reasonable.

YMMV
