I used to do it very similar to that Robbie. However, I recently acquired one of Luthier Tools jigs, and would never go back. My advice to anyone who wants to build more than a couple of slotheads, classical or steel string, is get one of Chris' jigs. Not cheap, but worth every penny of the price. Colin |

Colin Ditto here on Chris' Slothead jig. I've used this jig for 4 years on many slotheads...much simpler and virtually fool proof! One of my faviorite purchased jigs of all time! |

I have used Chris's binding cutter base for the PC router but haven't had the opportunity of using his tuner hole and slotting jig yet. |
