| Post subject: | Resetting HHG joint? |
I have googled HHG info, and it states that you can reheat HHG for up to 2 months or more until it completely hardens. I have a thicknessed back I re-glued up, and the top 1" is off, the plates didnt merge, -can I just iron out the 1" of joint and reset it? I would rather not take the thing apart. |

The joint won't be as close as if you were to separate the two plates and re-do the entire glue up. Because the plate is already thickness'd you'll have to clamp them along the seam to make sure that they are flush once the glue has set. |
