Many of the tutorials/one methods that were done prior to the software change late last years had broken links that Bob Connor has worked very hard to repair. I just checked out the page to these toots and everything seems to be working and it's great to have all of this information a click away again. Many thanks Bob! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This page has been living outside of the OLF site for a while now and I doubt if everyone has had the opportunity to see it. Here is the link: http://www.connor.net.au/olftutorial/ Lance and Brock is there any way that we can add a link to this page in the Video/Picture Tutorial forum of the new OLF please? Perhaps it could simply be a thread called "All Archived OLF Tutorials." Many thanks again Bob my friend! |

Hesh, your Back Joint Reinforcements tutorial is MIE (missing in ether). I'm taking it as a sign you wanted to redo it for us. I'll dig around and see if I have your original treatise tucked securely in a corner somewhere if you'd like. |

Hi Lillian - unfortunately I never kept copies or links to anything that I did...... So if you find it that would be greatly appreciated but I am very happy that the vast majority of them are accessible now. ![]() |

And Hesh, to answer your question, short answer is yes! Long answer is maybe we can at some point make this page live at the OLF. I will check in to it. It would also be nice if it were sort of a wiki of the OLF and that we could all edit and add as we see fit? |

Thanks Lance and I like the Wiki idea. Mike Mahar had suggested some time ago that we employ a wiki format where it might work and this might well be a good place to do it. The real value, IMHO, of these toots and one methods is the discussion and sharing that they generate. We can't always get people to volunteer content but many are pretty comfortable adding value to a method and even disputing something that would not work well. And that, to me, is the real value of a forum. Thanks Lance! |

Guys-- If the forum software supports a wiki, then I think that setting up a tutorial page in wiki format would be a significant 'add' to the value of the OLF. There is potential for a really nice web resource in this idea. And a huge vote of thanks to those of you that resurrected the toot page! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Thanks for pointing out these tutorials Hesh I didn't realized OLF had such a thing available. Looks like lots of good stuff in there, I'll have to take the time to look them all over closely. Thanks again.... Greg |

However it is one of those situations where you have "for the want of a nail" .... somehow we have managed to misplace that original graphic in its layered format and now it is not easy (for Lance or I who are graphics neophytes) to change the text. But yes... I can make that happen. Hey... looks like it would be helpful to read the whole thread before I respond... huh? I really like the wiki idea. That could be very very cool. We will look into it. |

Thanks for the Link Hesh and thanks to Lillian and Bob for keeping all of the tutorials alive. There are really helpful, especially to new builders like me, who find these a invaluable resource. Thanks again! |
