Thanks for posting those Todd. I think the radial purfling is a vrey cool look and I'm waiting for the right opportunity to use it.

When I'm cutting thin material I use a push / hold-down that covers the work entirely. I set the blade just proud of the work and let it cut into my push stick. This has the benefit of securing the offcut. Is there a safety issue with this I'm not aware of which caused you to choose your setup?
