I just used my last set of lutz and now have another commision for a master grade or close lutz topped guitar. Anybody have an extra set that is master grade or near? Let me know what you want for it, I have a motivated client!!!
TIA

Hey John,

I just got back from my trip last night. The logs I had expected to be delivered in my absence were not here, so a couple of phone calls and I should see them by Tuesday. Once they are here I will be processing to get caught up. But for the short term. What are your minimum dimensions? Will this guitar fit in an L-00 pattern? Once you let me know I will have a look through my own stash and see what I can find that would fit your pattern

Shane

Hi Shane, this is a small jumbo guitar at 15 3/4 x 21 so I probably need at least 8" per board.
Thanks for taking a look, I certainly appreciate it.

Found one John, It will be just under 8.25 inches wide, each piece. I need to saw it into a set but it has been in the shop for quite some time so is good and dry. I can ship it early this week if you like.

I got a handful from Shane some years ago, and haven't yet used any. I have a few master or near, and all are dry and ready to go, some even baked. All are joined(hot hide), too.

Whatcha got to swap? <g>

They're all nice(around 15 of them) and I like 'em enough and think they'll make fine guitars, but they're a hard sell to my client base. IE: nobody wants to try one <g>

If you want one or two, just say so.

Mario,

I guess you just have to make a guitar with one of those tops and do a side by side with a guitar with a red spruce top and see what how they compare. You need a guitar for yourself anyway, you keep playing around with that mandolin and your fingers are going to shrink!

If it were that simple, I'd have a few guitars, in each combination <g>

Time....
