Frets tomorrow!

I admit I have procrastinated on getting this one finished up and shipped out. Today I
managed to get the neck glued on and tomorrow frets! YES!

I will be sending this one out the first week of March.
LS Redwood/Cocobolo with flamed Koa bindings and rosette. The rest is Ebony.
Gotoh tuners.

Shane, let me tell you, you're missing a beaut for sure.
That's gorgeous, Lance.
The rosette looks to have an inner fire. Sweet!

Shane, you aren't logged in. It took me a few threads of, you don't have permission, to figure out what was going on.

Lance, that a mighty tasty looking guitar you have there. Might I inquire about the neck brace though? Is there an insurance claim in its future?

Beautiful work, Lance. That's got to be one excited client! What finish did you use? (sorry if I missed this from an earlier thread...)

Beautiful work, as usual, Lance. [clap]

I gotta hand it to you guys with the guts to fret after finish. I think I'd grind my teeth down to nothing before I finished the first one.

Thanks Guys,
Pat, its not that bad fretting after finish. I use that sticky backed cork, put a piece on each side of the FB and go to it.

Darren, thats a urethane finish. Tony Ferguson does it for me.

Lillian yes thats a neck thingy! My wife had to use it for while, the whole time I was thinking HMMM That would make a great neck rest!

The guitar is beautiful, but like Lillian, I was wondering about the neck "injury". My professional advise is to get that guitar out of that support as quickly as possible. It may weaken and get more dependent on that support. Now if you need a neck exercise sheet for rehab, just let me know.

Sorry, but I have been doing neck "resets" for over 20 years on people and couldn't let an easy one slide. :D

That is really pretty Lance

I was smitten with the look of the binding/purfling/top combination. Just great.

Fantastic! The koa really stands out and enhances the guitar. Not that it needed to be enhanced :D
