I could not help my self I will fix the one brace issue and set it up to my preference and she is a keeper.....Thanks Cortney, Brandi, Amanda, Emily. Grandpa is so proud!!! and of course I love you Diane I will try to get a sound clip together this weekend or early next week and post it. Attachment: Mac attact 01a.jpg Attachment: Mac attact 01b.jpg Yes Mary (my classical tutor) I know! I am not in the classical position!. I'm in my office, I don't have a foot stool with me, and besides I am an old rocker anyway so deal with it |

Your enthusiasm will certainly make it easier to over look that miter joint! |

You must feel pretty proud. Isn't luthiery cool? You get to make stuff that's beautiful, and desirable, and as long as it's cared for it can last a lifetime. I'm sure you'll be keeping that one! Craig L |

Congratulations, Michael. I bet this improves your practice schedule. I need to finish mine so my practice schedule will improve too, I hope. I know there isn't one of these on my horizon.

If not for the one cosmetic issue and the brace issue I would but this guitar on par with the majority $4k-5k classical I have played. I don't know what Diane and the grand kids paid but I do know the 2008 price list without the added of the abalone rosette, Sound port and arm rest is approx $2K as shown on the builders web site. I am still stunned they did this. The short little run I played on it at lunch impressed me. I would not hesitate to order another but I would be explicit up front with him that I expected the braces to be glued properly or I would return it. The problem I have will be easy enough to fix and I reall did not want to ship it back so I wrote Renato and suggested he improve his QC before moving on to the step as secure brace are KIND OF important |

Mike what a beautiful guitar! Just tug on those strings a bit to tighten them up! Tug-not pull hard! make sure you do not have a coil (3 or more windings)on the tuners or it will take weeks for them to snug up! Hey how do like the fish glue? "If you love guitars;make one for a love one"MC Mike |
