I found something else I like about the new version... It will save me a lot of embarrassment posting empty posts, because there is no quick post that just lets you hit the post button, which I was want to do. Now you get the post screen, and when you realize you don't have anything to say, you can cancel out.

Obviously the speed, though I was happy with the old one, this one is about the fastest thing out there.

I like the fact that we can have avatars that are viewable, but I wish that please those that have gone bigger than about 140px would reduce them down as having an avatar sticking out into the text columns is annoying and makes the whole thread look like it was thrown together rather than structured. Just because you can go to 200 doesn't mean it's a good idea. Most people seem to have settled for 140px, including our esteemed leaders, please guys let's keep it looking tidy!

IMO one thing that could be improved is that the poster's name is in a rather small font, and not easy to see....lost almost, not nearly as easy to see as the old format.

It's not quite as slick as on the other software, I bet there's an add-on to make it better.

There are three ways. If you simply want to post the actual website address, then you hit the URL button and your cursor will be in the right spot to type or paste the address. So it will look like this when you type it:

[url]http://www.google.com[/url]

Although, I'm pretty sure you can just type in the web address and it'll automatically make it a link unlike the old software, I'll try it here:

http://www.google.com

Or if you want to have a text description and have that text linked, you have to put the web address inside the first set of brackets with an equal sign and web address inside the brackets, then your text goes between the url and /url in brackets. Like so:

[url=http://www.google.com]Link to google[/url]

I'll disable the BBCode in this post so you can see the format, the next post will show it as it would normally display.
