I have been having issues with using my bookmarked link when using it to open and then log in.

It would get here but when I would log in and for about 10 seconds all would be fine and show me as logged in, but then the page would flash and when it re-painted I would no longer be logged in.

Now If I type in the URL into the browser address line to get to the site all works fine.

I'm no internet guru, but I find that it works best for me to just bookmark, http://www.luthiersforum.com, and when I go there, and then flip to the forum from the intro page, it logs me in automatically. No issues seem to occur. I wonder if bypassing the intro page cause some issues? My does require a couple of page changes before I see any stuff, but it's so fast now it doesn't seem to be much of an issue.

Michael, go to the bottom of the "Board Index" page. Do the User Name - Password thing and click the little auto log in box. It will work.

You need to erase your old bookmark and then re implant it. I had the same problem and actually was taken to the old forum pages because they were saved in startup files on my hard drive. So when you use bookmarks it takes you to the old first and then refreshes on the web to the current site.

Michael, I use the url http://www.luthiersforum.com/forum and it gets me to the index page right off the bat. Might give that a try.
