WOW Kathy! It is a real pleasure to see you posting here. WHen I first started exploring the idea of building guitars, yours was one of the first I read and one of the most helpful too. I sure would like it if you came around more often and shared your knowledge!

Thanks, Ken! I do tend to lurk regularly here, but don't really post often -- partly due to lack of time, but also partly because I feel a bit unknowledgeable compared to others around here! But I do learn quite a bit here....

Doesn't seem to bother me, that I don't know as much as others, but you definately know more that many who are here posting ideas and questions every day. Understanding that you have to fit it into your schedule, Kathy, but with what you have done, you have so much to offer. I know I have spent hours on your site. Thanks for what you have done for us, and please keep us posted on your projects.

Thanks, Waddy! Well, since you asked, the project I did this past summer is here: http://pweb.jps.net/~msmatsus/htmlpages/c1.html.
It's a somewhat-traditional classical with a curly redwood (RC Tonewoods) top.

Outstanding Classical, Kathy. Great pictures, and a very nice presentation. My first is a classical too. I am building miine using the Romanillos Plan, and trying to use hand tools as much as possible. It is an interesting process for me, and a great learning experience. Thanks for sharing the link.

I used to have "cookie problems" on the old site...some machines with IE would let me log in, some wouldn't...had best luck with Firefox. Just a thought....

Well, I'm in, not that any of you will recognise this username as 'Dave Bamber' which was my original login will let me log in with the emailed password but then I can't see any of the forums and can't change my password.

Unfortunately one of the disadvantages to having one of the best forenames around appears to be that a lot of other people have it too, so nearly all the permutations had already been used up when trying to re-register. Hence why I'm using CypressGroove which is a username I'd used on a forum I frequent with Sam Price and Martin Edwards.

Well, the main thing is that I'm in and it all seems to work... good job Brock and Lance!

PS for any of you/all of you who don't remember me - I'm the guy building his first steel string currently who used to run an international marketing company. You may remember me from such ill-considered threads as 'Why aren't braces radiussed to the surface of a sphere?' and 'Can we use teak? No? Ah well...' and the one all about marketing and trade shows...
