See them tumbling down
Pledging their love to the ground
Lonely but free I'll be found
Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweed.

Come home! Come home! The last post is sounding
for you to hear. All good soldiers know very well there
is nothing to fear while they do what is right, and forget
all the worries they have met in their duties through the
year. A soldier cannot always be great, but he can be a
gentleman and he can be a right good pal to his comrades in
his squad. So all you soldiers listen to this - Deal fair by all
and you'll never be amiss.

Be Brave! Be Just! Be Honest and True Men!

Through the wind and the rain

Through the laughter and pain

Count on me

And when life isn't fair

And there's nobody there, I will be

In a world of pretenders

I am your defender

(I'll never surrender)

And when it all comes down

(Yeah, when it all comes down)

I'll be the last one standing

When I lay down, I'm right as rain.
When I stand up, there's a stabbing pain.

Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Win what? That old ratty post?!
Though, pull out the barbed wire, clean off the grudoo, and how many 4-piece tops are in that baby?
Or maybe it's backs/sides? Hard to tell...

Steve

Amen to that! I never get to see vistas like that unless I travel west or north, or a little of both. We live here behind the Pine Curtain. Not complaining, no siree, it's just nice to see such a big swath all at once from time to time.
