I wonder how many OLFers are going to the MGS in June?
I know that Brock and I will be showing for the first time there. I am pretty geeked about this show. I have heard SO much about Montreal..

I go every year (not as an exibitor) and had the chance to meet several of the OLFers. Look forward to meet you there!

My wife and I have it on the calendar - not to exhibit, but to see what's out there and meet some people from the industry and hopefully some OLF-ers...

I'll be there with as a supplier rather than exhibiting instruments, though I might bring a couple with me as showpieces.   I'll also likely have a stash of some neat wood with me.

I would like to go, but it would have to be a one day trip. Anyone know how long it would take me from Detroit to Montreal?

If it something reasonable, I would consider going, granted that I can get work off.

9 hours, 45 minutes at the speed limit, according to MapQuest. Much faster by plane, heli, or Autobahn.

Dont try the Autobahn route ... there is a new racing law on the books in this province (Ontario, on the way from Detroit to Montreal for those who are directionally challenged)) .. 50 kph (about 30 mph) over and they take your car, 2K fine minimum .... not a pretty site. The oldest guy caught so far was 85 !!! he was doing 160 (thats about 100mph) in a 100 zone (about 62 mph), on his way to the bank so he says !! .. the lady cop actually drove him there after leaving his car on the side of the road to be towed ...

But his daredevil attitude still charms the ladies
