This is Kim, Tim's wife. He asked me to update you guys. He is in a lot of pain and is pretty well doped up. My husband will be seeing the top kidney cancer surgeon at OU. They should get him in fairly quick. He has decided to do ablation. This is where they burn all around the tumor to cut off blood supply to the tumor. We are hoping this will take care of the cancer. They are going to watch him closely after the surgery. He opted to try this first versus removing the kidney. The doctor thinks the prognosis is good.

Will keep everyone updated as things proceed.

Thanks for all the prayers.

The Warren Family.

Kim,

You know I'm right here in OKC. If I can help please don't hesitate to drop me a line.

Kim and Tim, (now that gave me a smile, even in this hard time)
As John Mayes said, those of us close are available to help. I will be praying for you both and if there is anything I can do, I am 80 miles north of Tulsa and can get to OKC on a weekend if needed.

May your meds keep workin'! May the docs be skillful. And may your recovery be quick.

Don't get too excited, I was told I had bladder cancer a few months ago, but the biopsies came back negative, then it was colon cancer, but again the biopsies came back negative. Turned out it was an abscess the size of a grape fruit inside me...? But they've got to get in there to have a look before they really know for sure, they truly don't know til they see it for themselves.

Keep your chin up.
