"Cat urethane", That's the same urethane used to paint cars isn't it ?
So far I've finished my own except for plating my resos.
I might try and see if Dave Anderson is up for giving me some pointers though. He has some nice finishes on his builds and they are lacquer.

I have to agree with this. Dave does a beautiful finish. If I can get a finish close to Dave's I'll be a happy guy.
