What happened to the alien? Jimi is other-worldly, but beer drinking aliens aid with tutorial digestibility.

Many thanks everyone! :)

Peter I would love to visit your shop - thanks for the invite!!

Mark and everyone else look for an open house after the first of the year. We need to break in Flushtone Guitar works properly with lots of music and shop talk! And I am looking forward to the Fat boy plans too - thanks! [:Y:]

Arnt When I get the new guitar vice built I will not be able to show you or I will have to kill me..... :D It's someone else's design so I have to honor the IP. You are right about the island bench. I thought it would be a good place to work on set-up but planned on building at another bench. So far the island is the only bench that I seem to want to use.

Chris P. - you are right shops are never really done and are always a work in process. Good luck with your spray booth.

Jim my friend yeah this construction stuff is easy..... :D I plan on finishing the entire basement but will wait until next fall to tackle the last 40% of the basement. I sure learned a lot and I also learned and it was all very fun.

Rod bro it is so very comfortable down here that I have been eating my meals down here and seem to hang out here now every waking moment. My cell phone even gets 5 bars down here too. [:Y:]

Gabe my friend I am very sorry to report that the Alien from Serge did not survive the move. It was getting pretty ragged as it was in the old shop. But the spirit of Serge's alien is with me and always well be......

Vince watch for an open house next year. No bathroom down here but I have been eying my shop vac...... :D And it would not take much to install a roll of toilet paper on my spindle sander...... laughing6-hehe Building jigs never ends..... :D

Thanks again folks!!!!

 Thats me green with envy cool shop [clap] [:Y:] [clap] [:Y:] [clap] [:Y:] [clap] , but you know they say a clean shop is a sign of an unhealthy mind. Or as my old boss would say not enough work. I'm messy but he took it to another level he moved in tempoary in 1946 and just moved his idea of fixing the roof was to chuck another sheet of corrugated iron over the old then another then a tarp and always says I'm too busy to tidy.

Thanks guys! :) I spent the morning drywalling the "pink" table saw room so it is no longer pink....... :D And I am getting way faster at drywall too if I do say so myself.

Steve bro you have a standing invitation to come visit Flushtone any time you wish!!!

Ron - yes lots of light which I am enjoying and still tweaking here so that my own shadows are not on the benches. I am also working to not light up the places where I am not as well.

Lance, Kirt and everyone in the area or with an abundance of frequent flyer miles look for an open house in the future... :D

BTW something that I wondered about when I designed the shop was if I would be able to smell my BRW stash from my desk and the answer is a resounding YES!!!! :D

Hesh,

Great looking shop. One of the things I miss most after living in Florida is having a basement.

Do you use anything other than Monica Festool and the Jet air cleaner for dust collection?

That would be a great band name, Monica Festool and the Jet Air Cleaners.

John
