Hi folks,

I don't post much anymore, so sorry to post about bad news. I'm sure some of you know Tom Rein from Michigan. I tried several times to get up to see him when he was liquidating his shop but was never able to. I wish I had tried harder to get to meet face to face with him. A reminder to make the effort to go see your people, it's important.

I still have a big stack of mahogany from Tom.

Take care,
Brad

Tom will be missed. He was very forthcoming with advice and sharing knowledge.

Very sad to learn this. I worked with Tom on quite a few guitars over the years and always planned to visit him when he relocated to Michigan too. One more deep regret that will stick with me now. Prayers and condolences to Tom's family.

Tom was a stand-up guy; I bought a number of things from him. The PM I sent him a week ago is still in my outbox. If he had answered it, he would have signed his reply with "Stay with the happy people". He will be missed, RIP Tom.

Tom was a fine gentleman, I am really sad to hear he has passed. I'm proud to use some of his tools that he sold to me not long ago. Fair winds and sunny skies, my friend.
