I am helping a buddy build an OM in my shop. He got a little "aggressive" with the radius dish on the back. To the point where the neck and tail block are about the same height, the back is about 3 1/2" the front is about 3 1/4. My question is #1 acoustically will this matter since the top and back are close to parallel #2 I know I can change the height of the side slightly by leaving the kerfed linings a little proud. My question is can I add to the current kerfed lining or should I remove the existing and replace it?
