what is the best way to cut out the sound hole, using the router i used to cut the rosette channel with or the popsicle stick method, and what is your recommended way of attaching the top to the sides.

If you have a router jig to do a rosette , then you are set for cutting out the soundhole ...

As for gluing on tops and backs, I use my go bar deck ...
