I have a client who wants snakewood buttons for a set of Gotoh 510s. I have the wood. Anyone here with a CNC machine set up to do those?

Watkins had some at the Great Lakes gathering, but I'm not sure what tuners they were machined for. I believe he was entering an exclusive contract for that particular design anyway, but it could be worth checking with him.

I believe Bob Garrish offers them now. (Search "tuner" under topics)

Bob Garrish at Saintlutherie.com can make them. He is working on refining the process but he may be able to help.

Howard, I think they are available from LMI for the Gotoh 510 but they are most likely limited to the woods on hand.

Well, I just happen to be in their neighborhood, if they can make those buttons as a service. But I don't see any wood buttons for Gotoh 510s on their website. Where/when did you see any from LMI?

Hey Howard, I think Natalie at LMI is the CNC person and perhaps might be convinced to do something like this.

I learned that Bob Garrish is set up to make them for the minis. He soon will be for the mid-size as well.
