Now, I'm good with tools, not afraid of electronics, and am certain I can tackle this. :) But I wanted advice before I proceeded. This pickup (http://www.lrbaggs.com/Manuals/element_ ... manual.pdf) has a volume knob that hides in the sound hole. But it is wider than the 1/2" hole for the preamp. AFAIK, no way to get it through. The manual says nothing about this. gaah So, what is the normal procedure? Cut the wires and solder?

Mike

Edit: Never mind.  oops_sign

No doubt. ;)

Edit: Although damage to the product did not occur, it might have. And had the pickup had flesh sensing technology (or better yet, doofus sensing technology) it would have jumped out of my hands and back into the box and left me to my own devices until I finally read the ENTIRE manual. pfft
